A-Lex on Mars

In the year 1987 on August 16th, the first "Harmonic Convergence" occurred in our solar system, an event of significant importance to Mayan and other astrological cultures. It also marked the birth of a boy named Alexander Wesley Marion. Idealistically and scientifically minded, Lex paid little heed to the astrological implications of his birth. Nevertheless, he has spent his life looking to the stars, whether through a telescope, a window, or the little plastic glowey-things stuck to his ceiling. From novels about alien encounters to textbooks on contemporary astrophysics, space is all but an obsession for Lex. Now he sets his sights on Mars to "boldly go where no man has gone before!"
