On December 30, 2013, as the year came to its end, Mars One began sending mass emails to the more than 200,000 total applicants. The contents of this email? A letter either accepting or rejecting them to round 2, the interview stage. Only 1058, or less than 0.5%, of the applicants made it to round 2. A-Lex on Mars was one of those 1058 selected. A huge step and honour in itself, Lex eagerly awaits an update in the new year.
